What is unusual about young figure skater Christie Reneau is that she is part of a very large family.

Her very supportive family members include her mother, Allyson, her, father, Dale, two brothers, John and Dale, and eight sisters: Kelsey, Victory, Cindie, Kimmie, Olympia, Ashlyne, Sydnie and Julianne, and an "adopted big sister," Kelli.

Christie dreams of competing in the Olympics someday.

Christie was born on March 15, 1992 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Education:

Christie is a student at Victory Academy.

How Christie Became Serious About Skating:

Christie started skating lessons at the age of seven and states that she has always been serious about skating.

Coach and Training:

Christie's figure skating coach is Jackie Brenner. She trains five days a week for three and a half hours every morning, and also skates for another hour and a half on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. She also does off-ice training at a gym three times a week.

Competition Experience:

Christie has competed in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Wichita, Chicago, and Detroit.

Best Skating Moves and Favorite Skating Music:

Christie's best skating moves include her double flip and her sit spin. Christie likes to skate to classical music.

Hobbies and Talents:

Dancing, water skiing, dancing, and tumbling
