Figure Skater Sasha Cohen won a Silver Medal in the 2006 Winter Olympics and she is the 2006 United Figure Skating Ladies Champion.

During the time that she was doing rehearsals for Stars on Ice 2010, About.com's Guide to Figure Skating, Jo Ann Schneider Farris, had the chance to interview her. The most significant thing that Cohen had to share was advice for today's young figure skaters.

Jo Ann asked Sasha Cohen the following question:

"Young skaters look up to you. What advice do you have for young figure skaters of today? How can a person new to the sport make the most of his or her figure skating dreams?"

Sasha Cohen shared the following in response:

"Persevere, be patient and have perspective. It's going to be a rough road, but if you really want it and you work really hard for it, to persevere and to be patient are the biggest factors in being successful."
