The City Pond in Bryant Park is not as crowded as the Ice Skating Rink at Rockefeller Center. There are no lines and skaters can skate for hours and hours. Skating is free and complimentary lockers are available. Those who use the facility should bring their own locks, but locks are also available for purchase. There is a snack shop next to the rink.

Lessons:
Group, private, and semi-private ice skating lessons are available at the Citi Pond in Bryant Park on a walk-on basis seven days a week. Coaches are also available to give lessons during birthday parties or for other group events.
