A Figure Skating Coach May Be a Mentor, Guide, and Role Model

Figure Skating Champion Evan Lysacek With His Coach Frank Carroll
Recently, I watched a movie about a high school music teacher's thirty years of teaching. I related to the story. I began coaching ice skating about twenty-five years ago. Once in awhile, I will hear from one of my former students. It is always wonderful to hear how I made an impact on a life!

Be aware that a figure skating coach may be more than just a teacher; he or she may be a mentor, guide, and role model.

i’m from Newport beach, ca. its sad to see john nicks, still teaching young kids today, because he is a ripoff person in his personal life. he took my family for over 60 thousand dollars about 29 years ago. hope hes not teaching our kids to ripoff or cheat in life. his ex wife and kids are benefiting my family’s hard work, that he ripped us off for.. it just saddens me to see that the world see john nicks as a good guy, hes not at all.
