Marty and Jack Raeffler

I remember Marty from Roll n' Ice on Long Island. I have been a coach for 27 yrs and still remember fondly my lessons at age 10 w/Marty Martino--he was so positive and creative. Denise B

Marty was a very Unique Person

I've known Marty for 30 years. He was one of the first few friends when I moved to Colorado in 1979 and he was my neighbor. I remember helping him with some work one home he owned. I remember one time when a plain glass candle lantern had broken one of the glass panes. He took the lantern home with him and brought it back a few weeks later, but this time it had stain glass in each one of the windows of the lantern. To this day I have had the Lantern either on or near my desk, in my study. I also remember a number of times we would watch Movies, and he brought over a picnic basket with the red plaid picnic table cloth with all sorts of goodies inside to eat as we watched the Movies. Marty was, is, and always will be a memorable friend all through this life, and the next. So till We Meet again Marty, we will relive our good times with Marty every chance we get. Your Friend Always, Dwight

I had taught with Marty Martino for a few years...I learned from Marty and enjoyed his sharp witt and precise corrections, he was a passionate wonderful coach. He was awesome! My son Chris spent many a time with him in lessons and Marty nicknamed him BONES it sticks to this day. He will be sooo missed and honored all the days of our lives!

Marty Always Said "Hi!"

I remember that Marty took the time to say hello to me every time I went to Sertich Ice Center. He also made me laugh; it is difficult for anyone to make me laugh! Marty was a very special man.
