Dah!

Obviously she planned it. She's not just going to think the night of the championship, "Let's pay someone to hurt this girl so I can win and she can't play."

Nancy/Tanya

I feel that Tanya had a hard time in skating. her mother made all her clothes, and she did not look as cute or polished as the other girls. I am sure she felt inferior to them. I don't think she intended to hurt Nancy so much. I think she may not even have know what was going to happen to her, as for being banned for life, I think that was a hard punishment, other skaters have done bad thing and have only been banned a year or two. She now has a child of her own. I hope she has learned her lesson and I wish her all the best.

Notoriously poor sportsmanship

Tonya Harding was undoubtedly the most dishonorable athlete in the history of any competitive sport in the world. She knew very well that Nancy Kerrigan was a strong contender for gold and was very jealous of her and was willing to do anything short of murder to get Nancy out of the competition so she could seek the gold herself. Tonya should be banned from competitive sports for life. She sounds like she has some type of psychopathic personality or another type of mental disorder. That much having been said, I don't even think that Nancy Kerrigan herself demonstrated such great sportsmanship after she only won silver and Oksana Biaul narrowly won gold. At least, Nancy competed honestly and did not try to harm anybody.

Hurting Nancy Kerrigan

Of course she did! She planned the whole thing. How can she say she didn't know about it? She's a big liar!
