Terry Kubicka was the 1976 US national men's figure skating champion. He also was the first man to do a backflip at a figure skating competition. This video clip shows his long program at the 1976 World Figure Skating Championships. His controversial and famous backflip is shown in this video. The move was banned shortly after the event.
