Schneider is a nine-time U.S. National Competitor in singles
, and a U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist in figures
Accomplishments As a Figure Skating Coach:
Billy has coached numerous competitive skaters throughout his career, including five U.S. Champions. The Professional Skaters Association (PSA)
has awarded him the Master Rating in both freestyle and figures.
National Figure Skating Technical Specialist:
Billy Schneider has been certified by U.S. Figure Skating as a National Technical Specialist in singles. He has served in that official capacity at three U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
Schneider has been a frequent U.S. presenter for the PSA, and at the U.S. National Junior Figure Skating Championships
"Reach for the Stars" seminar in 2006. Additionally, he has served as a faculty member at U.S. training seminars for propspective U.S. Figure Skating officials.
Home and Family:
Billy Schneider is is married to fellow skating professional Amy Schneider. They have two children, Phoebe and Charlie. The family lives in Colorado.
Schneider received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1981 from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 1995.
