What "Skating With Celebrities" Was About:

"Skating With Celebrities" was a prime-time television show that aired in early 2006. It partnered six professional figure skaters with six famous personalities. Paired with professional skaters, celebrities trained and competed in a live television skating competition.

The Best in Figure Skating :

The best in figure skating participated in "Skating With Celebrities." There was World and Olympic Gold Medalists skating in every show.

Here's an Example of Who was Paired Together:

Actor and comedian Dave Coulier ("Full House") was paired with Olympic Medalist Nancy Kerrigan. Tai Babilonia (World Pairs Champion) skated with television personality Bruce Jenner.

The Host:

The host was Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton.

Choreography:

The choreography was done by Emmy Award winner and U.S. National Dance Champion Michael Siebert. Also, World Pairs Champion Randy Gardner and National Ice Dance Champion Renee Roca contributed their talents.

Judges :

Olympic Gold Medalist Dororthy Hamill was one of the three judges. John Nicks, coach of Sasha Cohen and Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner, was also one of the judges.

Future Broadcasts:

It is uncertain whether "Skating With Celebrities" will take place in the future. It was a very popular show with high ratings.
