The legendary ice show star, Richard Dwyer, is considered one of the most famous skating show stars in figure skating history. He skated in both Ice Follies and Ice Capades and was also known as "Mr. Debonair." This photo gallery shows some of Dwyer's most memorable skating moments.

Note: Thank you Ice Theatre of New York for many of the photos included in this gallery.

Dwyer was fourteen years old when he joined Shipstads and Johnson Ice Follies. He wondered if he could make it for a year traveling with the show. He ended up skating with Ice Follies for thirty years and went on to perform and skate for over thirty more years.

When Richard Dwyer first joined the show, he was the "Young Debonair." When Dwyer was almost thirty years old, his title changed to "The Debonair." Later, he was "Mr. Debonair."
