Location and Date:
The show took place at Central Park’s Lasker Skating Rink, a two rink outdoor facility, on March 27, 2010.
How One Step Closer Came About:
The idea for One Step Closer came because Tim David wanted to make a difference. He knew about other figure skating benefit shows, and wanted to do an AIDS benefit. David's partner,
Brian Mancuso, came up with the name "One Step Closer." Mancuso believes that every benefit that generates funds for the research for the cure for AIDS means that we are "one step closer."
