2009 U.S. National Ice Dance Champions and 2009 Four Continents Champions:
Ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White have had a successful skating career. After winning the United States Junior Ice Dancing title in 2006, they placed third in 2007 and second in 2008 at the U.S. National Figure Skating Championships. In 2009, they won the U.S. Ice Dance title. They went on to win the 2009 Four Continents Championships.
Gold Medal Winners - 2008 Skate Canada:
In 2008, Davis and White won gold at Skate Canada. Their win was their first Grand Prix of Figure Skating title.
2007, 2008, 2009 U.S. World Team Members and 2006 Junior World Medalists:
Meryl Davis and Charlie White's third and second place finishes at the United States National Figure Skating Championships earned them a spot on the 2007 and 2008 U.S. World Figure Skating Team.
In 2006, they won the bronze medal in ice dancing at the Junior World Figure Skating Championships.

Meryl Davis was born on January 1, 1987 in Royal Oak, Michigan. Charlie White was born on October 24, 1987 in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Early Days of Skating:
Both Meryl Davis and Charlie White began skating when they were very young. Meryl was five years old and Charlie was three or four.
Hometown, Training Town, Skating Club:
Meryl and Charlie live in West Bloomfield, Michigan and train in Canton, Michigan. Meryl represents the Arctic Figure Skating Club and Charlie represents the Detroit Skating Club.

More About Charlie White:
Charlie White is also an accomplished singles skater. In 2004, he won the novice event at the Midwestern sectional championships and placed third in the Novice Men's event at the United States National Figure Skating Championships. In 2002, he was the United States National Intermediate Men's Champion.
In addition to figure skating, Charlie plays hockey. Charlie had to miss competing during the 2005 competition season after he broke his ankle playing hockey.
