Irene and David Diamond's Social Skating Experiences

Roller Skating is a Social Sport:

David writes:

"We skate adult sessions and coffee clubs. We especially like coffee clubs because they play dance music suitable for our style of skating, and they are not too crowded.

The term "coffee club" refers to a weekday morning session that includes social skating to dance music, coffee and coffee-cake or donuts, socializing, dance sets of specific dances, and often a mini-lesson. Mostly it is roller rinks that offer coffee clubs. A few ice rinks also have coffee clubs or artistic skate-dance sessions."
