Dianna-lynne Is An Inspiration:
Dianna-lynne Webster Wells is a figure skater and ice skating coach who has accomplished a great deal as adult. She began skating as a little girl, but injury forced her to quit skating when she was twelve.
Webster Wells returned to the ice in her twenties. Only six years after returning to the ice, Webster Wells won gold, silver, and bronze at the U.S. Adult National Figure Skating Championships and passed numerous standard track U.S. Figure Skating tests. She also became an established and accomplished ice skating coach.
Skating Accomplishments:
During the time that Dianna-lynne returned to figure skating as an adult, she passed her senior freestyle, senior moves in the field, and gold dance tests. As a child, she passed her 3rd figure test and intermediate freestyle test. After she returned to skating as an adult, she was "grandfathered in" and then took the novice moves in the field test and then the novice freestyle test. She is working on all of the free dance tests.
2010 Adult National Figure Skating Champion In Multiple Events:
At the 2010 U.S. Adult National Figure Skating Championships, Webster Wells won the Championship Dance event, won bronze in Championship Ladies, won Gold in Artistic Light and won silver in Artistic Dramatic.
Coaching Accomplishments:
Dianna coaches students of all ages and levels. She has coached beginning skaters and also has coached skaters on the senior moves in the field and senior freestyle tests. She is the director of her club's annual Nutcracker On Ice show. She is a senior rated coach with the Professional Skaters Association.
Synchronized Skating Champion:
In addition to competing in singles and ice dance, Dianna-lynne Webster Wells competed in synchronized skating. In 2007, she won gold in the adult event with Denver Synchronicity at the U.S. National Synchronized Skating Championships.
Education:
Dianna-lynne is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Kinesiology majoring in Sports Management. She minored in Theatre and Dance.
