She had a full scholarship for a PhD in psychology. While she was not on the ice with us at Nationals, she is very much a part of the team, and earned that Gold Medal as much as the skaters that were on the ice that day. Kristina Fritz is the middle skater in the front row."
Kristina Fritz Writes:
- "Watching the team skate at nationals from half way across the world
brought tears to my eyes, knowing they skated their best and enjoyed
every second out there together. I'm not going to lie - it was
difficult sitting in my living room 5000 miles away from where my
team was winning the national title. But even more, I miss being with
them every week, sharing my problems of the previous week, knowing
that they would laugh, cry, and share their emotions with me too. I
am just happy to be a part of their team even if I couldn't skate
nationals and celebrate such a wonderful experience with them.
Congrats team - I love you all."
