"Our first gold medal was earned while in Switzerland in 2005. There, we took a team photo with the US Flag. At Nationals that year, we won our first Nationals medal -- a Silver medal. It was the first Nationals Synchro medal for Colorado, and we decided to take a team photo with the Colorado flag during the awards ceremony. Knock on wood we've managed to medal each year since (Silver -- Bronze -- Gold -- all 3 colors!) and now it's become a team ritual that everytime we medal at Nationals, we have to take a team photo with the Colorado flag."
