Guide Review - "Fundamentals of Alignment and Classical Movement for Figure Skaters"

Fundamentals of Alignment and Classical Movement for Figure Skaters by Annette Thomas, is a book designed for figure skaters, coaches, and dance instructors who train skaters.

"Ballet for Figure Skaters" was developed by Annette T. Thomas in 1999. The program uses Russian technique ballet combined with Pilates and Yoga. Now, Annette Thomas has created a workbook that teaches all the concepts and exercises used in her classes.

The author's love for figure skating and ballet shows throughout this book. It is not only a book, but a training manual and workbook which can make a figure skater into the best he or she can be.

Everything is explained in great detail and many photos, drawings, and diagrams make each explanation come to life.

All figure skaters need to do ballet and stretch. This book will help a skater and coach understand what is accomplished in off-ice dance classes and will help to produce the best figure skaters possible.
