A twist lift is a pair skating move where the man lifts the lady in the air and then throws her. She rotates and twists and then he catches her on the waist and assists her with landing. In this photo, at the 2006 Olympics, Chinese pair skaters Dan Zhang and Hao Zhang perrom the move. They are famous for doing very high twists.
