The dances demonstrated include:

The DVD shows the steps of each dance in slow motion and with narration. Basic partner holds are explained. Timing is also explained. The layout of each dance pattern on the ice is also given.
After all this is done, the demonstrators, Terri Levine and Mike Ricigliano, do the dance for the viewer. It is hoped that the joy of ice dancing can be passed onto the viewer through the demonstration of each ice dance.
"Learn to Ice Dance" cannot take the place of professional instruction by a qualified ice dance coach, but can compliment and help any skater interested in learning the fundamentals of ice dancing.
