Definition: A "T" Position in figure skating is when an ice skater stands still on the ice in a position where his or her two feet make a "T." One foot points forward while the other foot's center is put horizontally behind the foot that points forward.
Examples: When standing in a "T" on the ice, it is best for both feet to be pressed to the outside edges.

A figure skater should be in a "T" position after finishing a t-stop.
