Definition: The pivot spiral is a pair skating move. The male performs a pivot and the female performs either a forward or backward spiral around the male as the male does the pivot. The man holds the lady by one hand and pulls her around in a circle.
Examples: A death spiral, where the lady's head is upside down, is a similar pair skating move and much more difficult.
