Definition: Double threes are figure skating moves done in Moves in the Field and in compulsory figures. Two three turns are skated and placed on a lobe.
Examples:
In compulsory figures, the lobe is divided into three equal parts, and each three turn divides the circle into exact thirds. In the Juvenile Moves in the Field test, the skater does forward double threes (meaning that the first turn begins while the skater is moving forward). The the lobes are also divided into equal thirds.

In the Intermediate Moves in the Field test, the skater performs backward double threes (which means the first three turn begins on a backward edge). The first turn is done on the top of the lobe, while the second turn divides the third half in two.
