Find a hockey circle to practice on. The center circle of an ice rink is the most popular place to practice crossovers. Most skaters like doing crossovers to the left, so work on that direction first. Put your feet together, facing the counter-clockwise direction, and line up your hips and shoulders right over your feet. Bend your knees.
