Diane Sherbloom and Larry Pierce won the 1961 US National figure skating Championships in ice dancing. This video shows their gold medal winning performance. The ice dance team died in the 1961 plane crash where the entire U.S. figure skating team perished. Their coach was Daniel "Danny" Ryan, who is mentioned when the team is interviewed after this performance. Ryan also died in the 1961 plane crash.
