On November 17, 2007, U.S. pair skaters, Tiffany Vise and Derek Trent landed the first quadruple throw Salchow at a figure skating competition. Vise and Trent landed the quadruple revolution pair skating throw jump during their long program at Trophée Eric Bompard, one of the events in the 2007 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series.
