Xue Shen and Hongbo Zhao are the first pair skaters from China to win the world pair skating title.
World Pair Skating Champions:
Shen and Zhao won the world pair skating title in 2002, 2003, and 2007.
Olympic Bronze Medalists:
At both the 2002 and the 2006 Olympics, Shen and Zhao won the bronze medal in pair skating. They placed fifth in the 1998 Olympics.
Throw Quadruple Salchow:
Xue Shen and Hongbo Zhao are one of the only pair teams in the world who have successfully been able to do a throw quadruple salchow.

Xue Shen was born on November 13, 1978 in Harbin, China. Hongbo Zhao was born on September 22, 1973 in Harbin, China.
Began Skating When They Were Young:
Both Xue Shen and Hongbo Zhao began skating at the age of seven.
Partnership:
Both Xue Shen and Hongbo Zhao began skating pairs together in 1992. Hongbo Zhao was Xue Shen's first pair partner, but Zhao previously skated and competed with Maomao Xie.
Coach :
Shen and Zhao's coach is Bin Yao.
