Brian Joubert is a French figure skating champion. He won that title in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
Brian Joubert was born on September 20, 1984 in Poitiers, France.
Brian Joubert began skating when he was four years old. He played hockey at first and then switched to figure skating.
Brian Joubert has two older sisters who also skated. For awhile, he did ice dancing with one of his sisters.
Brian Joubert's first coach was Veronique Guyon. He worked with her for fifteen years. He then trained with Laurent Depouilly. Then he worked with Andrei Berenzitsev. In 2006, he switched coaches again and began working with Jean-Christophe Simond.
Brian Joubert won the European Figure Skating Championship in 2004 and in 2007.
In 2006, Brian Joubert won the silver medal at the World Figure Skating Championships. In 2007, he won the World Figure Skating Championships.
Brian Joubert has received many medals and has won many titles in figure skating. Besides winning the French and World and European Figure Skating Championships, he won the Grand Prix Final, French Masters, Skate America, Cup of Russia, and the Trophee Eric Bompard.
Brian Joubert hopes to win gold at more World Figure Skating Championships and at the Olympics.
