Christopher Bowman was a two-time U.S. Men's Figure Skating Champion. He came in 4th at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville and landed a triple Axel at that Olympics.

Sadly, Bowman died on January 10, 2008. His life after the Olympics included a history of drug and alchohol abuse. He was found in a motel room in Los Angeles at the time of his death. It is said that he died of a drug overdose that could have been suicide. He died in his sleep. He was only forty years old when he died.
