Jennifer Kirk's mother, Pat Harris, was diagonosed with breast cancer in 1999; she died in August 2001.

Retired From Competitive Skating:

Kirk left the competitive figure skating world in September of 2005.

Life After Skating:

Jennifer Kirk lives in southern California. She is working towards a career in broadcasting and journalism.
