On July 1st of each year certain requirements must be met by figure skating coaches in the United States. This is a list of those requirements.
  1. Coaches Registration and Background Check
  2. US Figure Skating Membership and Club Membership Renewal
  3. PSA Professional Skaters Association Membership Renewal
  4. Coaches Liability Insurance Renewal
  5. CER Continuing Education Requirement Courses and Exams Completed and Passed
  6. ISI Ice Skating Institute Professional Membership Renewal and Background Check

No Grace Period:

There is no grace period.  If these requirements are not completed, an individual cannot teach private ice skating lessons or teach figure skating students at competitions or at test sessions.  Also, Basic Skills instructors must also register.
