Linda Kola Alexander has coached figure skating for many years. One of her specialties is teaching other skating teachers how to teach skating.
Linda Juckett Kola Alexander is a national and international figure skating coach. She has trained figure skaters of all ages and levels.
She has taught many skating teachers how to teach skating and has helped many ice skating coaches prepare for PSA rating exams. She is part of the PSA Ratings Team, so her experience of being an examiner with the Professional Skaters Association gives her the knowledge and expertise to help other figure skating coaches prepare for ratings exams.
Linda is a U.S. Figure Skating double gold medalist. She holds master ratings with the Professional Skaters Association in figures, freestyle, moves in the field, pairs, group ice skating instruction, and in figure skating program administration.
Linda also has directed figure skating competitions, shows, and events and is able to help other skating directors plan any skating event or program.
Linda Kola Alexander served as the chairman of the U.S. Figure Skatng Basic Skills Committee. She has written some of the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills curriculum. She has worked with U.S. Figure Skating as a Basic Skills technical seminar advisor and instructor.
Linda teaches ice skating coaches how to teach skating in many different settings. She also is able to mentor figure skating coaches and help them prepare for rating exams given by the Professional Skaters Association.
Linda's instructs skating teachers and those interested in coaching skating over the phone, through email, and at the rink.
Linda is a certified hockey instructor with the Professional Skaters Association. In addition to coaching figure skating, she coaches hockey players of all levels and helps to improve their skating skills.
Linda Kola Alexander is the manager and director of Honnen Ice Rink which is on the campus of Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her experience in this capacity gives Linda experience in many different areas related to ice skating.
In 2004, Linda became a Certified Ice Technician (CIT) through STAR ("Serving the American Rinks"). STAR is recognized by the NHL.
