A Series of Competitions for Young Figure Skating Choreographers:
Grassroots to Champions Young Artists Showcase is an online figure skating competition where young ice skating choreographers can show off their creativity and talent.
How to Enter:

. Information on what to submit is on the application.
Video or DVD Submissions Required:
All entrants should submit a video showing their work via a Grassroot to Champions YouTube dropbox link, or mail a DVD showing their work with the entry application.
Videos should be 10 minutes or less and can show more than one piece of choreography. The skating on the video should cover an entire ice surface and the skaters should be dressed in neat and plain skating clothing.
Applicants will receive an evaluation of their work by a panel of Olympic and world figure skating choreographers.
Ice skating choreographers that are twenty-eight years old and younger may enter Young Artists Showcase. There are no figure skating test requirements. The choreographer does not have to do the skating in the video.
The deadline to enter Young Artists Showcase is May 1, 2010. Entrants must agree to be able to create one video per week between the dates of June 14, 2010 and August 1, 2010 if they are selected as finalists. The top finalists must be available to travel to Blaine, Minnesota for the live final show which will take place on August 1, 2010.
