U.S. Speed Skaters to Watch In Vancouver

There are certain speed skaters from the United States that fans should especially pay attention to at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games.

Short Track Ladies:

• Katherine Reutter, US Short Track Speed Skating Champion
• Kimberly Derrick, Alyson Dudek and Allison Baver also have a good chance and might surprise everyone.

Short Track Men:

• Apolo Ohno and J.R. Celski are expected to win medals. Celski had a serious injury, but he looks to be approaching full strength as the Olympics gets closer.
• Jordan Malone and Travis Jayner also have a good chance and might surprise everyone.

Speed Skating (Long Track) Ladies:

• Jen Rodriguez is best bet in 1000 or 1500m
• Heather Richardson has a good chance and might surprise everyone.

Speed Skating (Long Track) Men:

• Shani Davis (4 distances)
• Chad Hedrick (3 distances)
• Tucker Fredricks (500m)
• Trevor Marsicano (3 distances)
