The recent December 12, 2012 showing of the pilot reality television episode about figure skating, Jersey On Ice, which aired on The Learning Channel, has received both negative and positive responses. The controversy made me remember that About.com Reality TV once asked readers if their own lives might fit in reality television. I responded! What could be better than a very informative show that showed a real figure skating family?

It sure could but I would want to get to pick the actors that played our story!
I would like to see JoAnn Schneider Farris’ family, (a real, and true ice skating family) have a reality show on television. I think it would be a fantastic show, and I would watch it regularly. I watched the first Jersey show, but thought it was unrealistic. [Also, I wish their was a cable TV channel that was just dedicated to all kinds of skating. How terrific that would be, and the endless number of ideas and subject areas of skating that could be covered!
