Social Ice Dancing

Alan J. Zell and his daughter, Lauren, have put together a "Wanna Dance Kit" that is meant to help ice rinks, ice dance coaches, and figure skating clubs recruit new ice dancers.

I have stated in the past that the "Hey-Dey" of social ice dance sessions may be over, but the Zells and other adult ice dancers are determined to keep that wonderful part of our sport alive. I hope the "Wanna Dance Kit" can help make that happen. I feel fortunate that I know how to ice dance and have had the opportunity to take part in social ice dancing. I can do waltzes, foxtrots, and tangos with a partner on the ice, and I want others to experience the joy of ice dancing!
