Have an Ice Skating Birthday Party!

Monday July 13, 2009
Happy Birthday!
For my daughter's fifth birthday, we reserved the party room at our local ice arena. My daughter asked each little guest to dress up as a princess. I brought tiny child size tables to the rink, and each little girl brought her own little chair. The kids listened to Disney princess music, drank from little teacups, sang the Happy Birthday song, and ate small little cupcakes on child size plates.

After that, the children and their parents put on ice skates and had a blast skating on the rink's regular public skating session. During a break from skating, we opened presents.

Have you had a special birthday celebration at an ice rink? Share your own ice skating birthday party ideas.
