As Thanksgiving approaches, I have come to the conclusion that I am thankful for figure skating. Here's a list of some of the things related to figure skating that I'm thankful for:
  1. I am grateful that my parents gave me the gift of ice skating when I was a child.
  2. I'm thankful that I can put on a pair of skates and spin and glide across the ice.
  3. I'm thankful that I can enjoy ice dancing and I'm also grateful that my parents gave me the gift of learning that discipline when I was young. I know when I get too old to jump and spin, that I can enjoy ice dancing for many more years.
  4. I'm thankful for the friends I've made through skating.
  5. I'm thankful that my family can skate together.
  6. I'm thankful that I've been able to share the things I know about figure skating with others.
  7. I'm thankful that so many wonderful figure skaters have performed throughout history.

Are you thankful for figure skating? Share what you are thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Skating!
