Salt Lake City hosted the 2008 United States Junior Figure Skating Championships from November 26 through December 1, 2007. It was an exciting event since new young champions were crowned. Last season's U.S. Juvenile Ice Dance Champions, Joylyn Yang and Jean-Luc Baker, won gold once again. They are now the 2008 U.S. Intermediate Ice Dance Champions.

Joylyn passed her Gold Dance Test on December 21, 2005. She was only nine years old at the time. Jean-Luc is the son of former ice dance Olympian Sharon Jones Baker and amateur and professional world pair team member, Steve Baker.

Joylyn is my friend! I’m serious! She goes to my school and she loves to watch scary movies!
