Lake Placid Summer Ice Dance Championships

Ice Dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White - Competitors, Lake Placid Dance Championships
One of the largest ice dance competitions in the world takes place in Lake Placid, New York each summer. Figure skaters from the United States, Canada, and all over the globe participate. Both solo and couple ice dancing events are held. Adults and children compete. This year's event takes place from August 1--4, 2007.
