During the Ladies Short Program event at the 2007 State Farm U.S. National Figure Skating Championships, ESPN2's cameras showed Rachael Flatt land a triple lutz-triple toe loop combination, but Rachael's triple toe loop was downgraded to a double toe. Her scores reflected the downgrade and Rachael placed 6th after the short program. If the technical specialists had counted that move as a triple lutz-triple toe loop combination, Rachael may have finished closer to the top.
