We ALL Fall Down!
Yesterday I received a letter from an About.com reader who was NOT interested in figure skating, but was very interested in learning how to fall down. This got me thinking that falling down with or without skates on does have some similarities. For example, it is important to not lean back so that you avoid hitting your head when you fall.
Also....did you know that when figures were part of figure skating competitions that the judges had to walk on the ice with their shoes on to examine a skater's tracings on the ice? And....once in awhile a skating judge (not a skater) would fall down during ice skating events!
