Ice Dance Champion James Sladky

The first time I saw an ice dance competition, I was bored, I admit. All I saw was a bunch of skaters, who were much older than me at the time, wearing black outfits. They skated to the same piece of music over and over and did exactly the same thing. I just didn't understand what they were doing.

Then, I saw Jim Sladky perform. He and his partner, Judy Schwomeyer, were amazing! They not only skated fast, but they danced with excitement and athleticism. I wanted to be like them.
